What I'm
focused on.
A snapshot of the work, questions, and ideas occupying my attention right now.
BUILDING
Financial infrastructure for markets that data forgot.
AfriScore is the immediate expression of that ambition: alternative-data credit intelligence designed for financial institutions operating where conventional credit histories are thin or absent.
The focus now is moving from model to institution — refining the technology, deepening partnerships, and finding the places where better information can translate into better capital allocation.
STUDYING
Learning to see systems from both sides.
I am continuing an MSc in Financial Engineering at WorldQuant University, deepening my work in stochastic calculus, quantitative methods, derivatives, portfolio theory, and computational finance.
More interesting to me, however, is what happens when mathematical models encounter imperfect institutions, incomplete information, and human behaviour. That intersection sits increasingly close to the centre of my work.
What should a financial model do when the world it is modelling does not behave like the assumptions that produced it?
WRITING
Trying to put difficult ideas into words.
I am writing about the relationship between quantitative models and the institutions in which they operate — particularly the ways model failures can reveal boundary problems rather than mathematical ones.
Alongside this, I am continuing research on alternative data, credit risk, financial infrastructure, and the liability of autonomous financial agents under OHADA law.
The Architecture of African Financial Infrastructure
A first-principles attempt to think about financial inclusion, institutions, data, and capital allocation across African markets.
