Charles Mfouapon is a Cameroonian award-winning financial engineer and the founder of AfriScore, a B2B SaaS credit decisioning layer built to enable financial institutions to lend to credit-invisible populations by turning mobile money, airtime, and device data into explainable, compliant credit decisions.

He works at the intersection of financial regulation, quantitative risk modeling, and distributed infrastructure, with a focus on building credit intelligence systems for emerging African markets.

Charles holds an MSc in Law and Finance from Oxford, a First Class LLB from UCAC, and a First Class BSc in Mathematics and Economics from the University of London. He is the author of The Architecture of African Financial Infrastructure.

He is bilingual in English and French, and equally comfortable deploying a Rust backend as he is navigating the OHADA Uniform Act and CEMAC regulations.
